KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Programme
Under its SPEED initiative (Student Programme for Excellence in Experimental Design), the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE) welcomes applications for the KSCSTE Prathibha Scholarship Programme 2021 from students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programmes in Kerala. This scholarship initiative aims to inspire prospective students to pursue higher education in the field of science.
Eligibility
A candidate who wants to be considered for this scholarship must:
- being a resident of Kerala
- possess a Kerala Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12) diploma.
- possess a minimum GPA of 90% across all Science classes combined, or 80% for students who are SC or ST.
- have been admitted to a basic science or natural science BSc, Integrated MSc, or Integrated BS-MS study.
Note:
Each year, 100 scholarships are given out in total, with 10% going to candidates who are from SC/ST groups and 50% going to female candidates. The Higher Secondary Board Examination aggregate scores in all Science topics are used to determine student selection and rank distribution.
Benefits
- for the final three years of an Integrated MSc or a graduation-level course
- Students will receive INR 12,000 in the first year.
- Students in the second year will receive INR 18,000
- Students will receive INR 24,000 in the third year.
- for a course at the graduate level
- Students will receive INR 40,000 in the first year.
- Students will receive INR 60,000 in their second or fifth year.
Documents Needed
The student will need to provide the following documentation for scholarship confirmation after being chosen in the Provisional Rank List.
- Student Data Sheet that has been properly completed, signed by the applicant, and approved by the institution’s head for admission to a degree programme
- Copy of the Higher Secondary Board Examination results, together with a self-attested Community Certificate for applicants who are SC or ST.
- Document serving as evidence of “Place of Origin” [The applicant must be from Kerala]
“Terms & Conditions” properly signed - E-payment form in the format required
